About the show

If anyone has earned the right to be your musical guide, it’s Benjamin Herman: a saxophonist and composer with over fifty albums to his name and a lifetime spent digging through the furthest corners of jazz and anything adjacent to it.

In his radio show B’s Wax, Benjamin puts that obsession to work, curating the freshest voices from today’s jazz scene alongside hidden gems buried in decades of records few people ever bothered to find. Expect Japanese salon music next to Senegalese Mbalax, and no-wave followed by obscure film scores. Each episode is a journey through jazz past and present, hand-picked by one of the most curious ears in the business.
